Brecon Beacons accommodation
The Castle Coaching Inn, a small, family-run 3 star Georgian Hotel-standard Inn and Restaurant. We are located in the village of Trecastle, near Sennybridge in the Brecon Beacons National Park, South Wales. The Hotel is privately owned and managed by John, Val and Andrew Porter who take pleasure in personally welcoming their guests and doing what they can to help them get the most out of their stay.
We are recommended in The AA Pub Guide. We take pride in serving good, wholesome, home-cooked food alongside good wines and beers. During the winter months, our roaring log fire is the perfect place to relax after a day out exploring the Brecon Beacons.
Our location on the north edge of the National Park makes the Castle an ideal base for walking, cycling, fishing, golf or just enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery, lakes, waterfalls and wildlife the Brecon Beacons has to offer.
We look forward to meeting you...

We stayed at the Inn with our two teen daughters while attending the Hay Festival about 35 minutes away. The owner was very helpful and friendly and has some interesting stories to tell. Both rooms were clean and in good condition. Our room was very large and has a separate sitting room with a huge TV. They have coffee and tea and biscuits (cookies) in each room. The breakfast was a full English breakfast and they were happy to give my daughter endless hot chocolates. The wifi worked well which kept my teens happy. All in all a very nice experience.
